Where and how we envision Michael living as a young adult

In the future, we envision Michael living in a supported apartment setting with one roommate, located within walking distance of public transportation. Michael will need initial support with household management, but we see him gradually developing independence in meal preparation, basic cleaning, and personal care routines.

Michael's living environment will ideally have:

• Clear visual supports for daily routines
• Smart home technology for reminders and safety
• Access to community recreation within walking distance
• A sensory-friendly private bedroom
• Weekly check-ins from a living skills coach, decreasing over time

We anticipate Michael will need ongoing support with financial management, advanced home maintenance, and transportation planning, but will independently manage his daily schedule, basic needs, and social calendar.
